Robert (Bob) Heller
Thank you
08 September 2012

Sad to see The Times carrying an obituary today for Bob Heller, who I came across when he was Editor of Management Today. He commissioned me to do a couple of articles for the magazine in the late 1970s or early 1980s, I can't remember: one was humungously long, perhaps 6,000 words, if I recall accurately, on the environmental agenda for business.

He also asked me to do a section for one of his (apparently 80-plus) books, Business: The Ultimate Resource. A seriously mega-tome, which left me wondering who would read it, particularly in the era of the Internet and Google. But it was a privilege to be asked by such a towering figure in the world of business and management. Thank you.
